This study analyzed the need for Brazil to ratify Convention 190 of the International Labor Organization (ILO) as a tool for promoting equality in labor relations. This international treaty recognizes that violence and harassment, whether moral or sexual, practiced in labour relations, violate the human right to decent work. Furthermore, considering the persistence of gender inequality, the Convention places special emphasis on improving women's working conditions. To this end, theoretical data obtained through bibliographical and documentary research was presented, using qualitative methodology and the hypothetical-deductive method. In this sense, this research, based on a review of the existing literature, sought to demonstrate the positive impacts, reaching the conclusion that Brazil's ratification of this instrument will serve as an important tool for promoting equality for minorities, especially women in labor relations.
